Boston College Global Korea Project Presents...

Event description

This student-led forum invites Korean Jesuit priests for a thoughtful and engaging dialogue on the Jesuit mission in Korea and the distinctive cultural and spiritual character of Korean Catholicism. Through shared reflection and conversation, the event explores how Catholic faith has taken root in Korea and how Jesuit values of education, service, and discernment guide us in our modern world.

The evening will begin with a brief, guided discussion, followed by an open Q&A with the speakers. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with Jesuit priests on issues of faith, culture, vocation, and service.

Together, we will reflect on the intersection of faith and culture, considering what the Jesuit tradition and the Korean Catholic experience can teach us about living with purpose, discernment, and a commitment to justice in a global context.

Speakers

This conversation will be chaired by student Jacob Chi (Biology '27) and will feature Jesuit priests from Korea who are currently pursuing graduate studies at Boston College.
