Dr. Argüello will speak about his experience on the Multidisciplinary Scientific Committee that is actively trying to keep the Nicaraguan population informed about Covid-19. He will also discuss his efforts to promote prevention measures and information that would help mitigate the impact of the pandemic in the country. Dr. Argüello was General Director of Hygiene and Epidemiology during the Sandinista administration in the 1980s. From 1990 to today he has been the director of national and international NGOs that work in healthcare and community development.
