Classroom community often plays a crucial role in student learning and makes the process rewarding for students and the instructor -- but it can be more difficult to foster community outside of a traditional face-to-face classroom. In this workshop, we will consider how the science of emotion can be leveraged to build authentic community and promote deep learning.
