In recognition of Human Trafficking Awareness Month and the 25th anniversary of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act and the Palermo Protocol, the Rappaport Center for Law and Public Policy brings together leaders who are reshaping how the law responds to human trafficking. Panelists will highlight survivor-centered strategies, including civil remedies, to combat labor and sex trafficking and alleviate the burden of forced or coerced criminal activity on survivors’ capacities to work, get housing, and obtain immigration status.
