BC Law Mock Trial Competition

The BC Law Mock Trial Competition is an annual event hosted by Boston College Law School Board of Student Affairs. This prestigious competition provides an opportunity for second and third-year law students to hone their litigation skills in a realistic courtroom setting.

Format

• Teams of two students compete against each other
• Each team argues both sides of a jury trial case
• Participants demonstrate their ability to present motion arguments, opening statements, direct and cross-examinations, and closing arguments

Eligibility

Open to 2L and 3L students at Boston College Law School

• Practice Round: Thursday October 17th / 7:00 - 9:00 PM
• ROUND 1: Saturday October 19th / 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM
• ROUND 2: Saturday October 19th / 1:30 - 4:30 PM
• ROUND 3: Sunday October 20th / 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM
• SEMI-FINALS: Sunday, October 20th / 1:30 - 4:30 PM
• Finals: TBD
