Backpack 68 Food Drive
Students from BC's Understanding Race, Gender, and Violence Core class have partnered with Violence in Boston, a nonprofit organization seeking to improve the quality of life in disenfranchised Boston communities. There are 68 hours between Friday dismissal and Monday morning in which many school children do not have any food to eat. All donations of nonperishable food items will be donated to these students and their families. A collection box will be placed outside of the faculty dining room. Any nonperishable donations are greatly appreciated!
