Canvas now offers both Classic Quizzes and New Quizzes, two tools for assessment which will co-exist for the foreseeable future. This workshop will begin with an overview of both systems and criteria instructors might consult in choosing between them, then there will be concurrent opportunities to explore each system separately. Facilitators will show how to create Quizzes with a variety of question types, and how to organize and grade them and provide student accommodations. The session will consist of 60 minutes of content including Q&A, followed by an opportunity to work hands-on with features shown in the session. Please bring a laptop if you are attending in person and would like to participate in the 30 minutes of practice time.
