To kick off International Education Week, the McMullen Museum, the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) and Global Engagement invites students to celebrate all things international with an evening filled with board games, arts and crafts, and food from various countries, along with music, movies, open-mic performances, and an opportunity to enjoy the McMullen’s current exhibition, States of Becoming! Students are welcome to drop in anytime!
If you are interested in participating in the open-mic to share a piece of cultural heritage, a trip abroad, or an international piece of writing that inspired you, register here for a slot. We invite students to share any meaningful experiences outside of the United States. If that is a song translated into another language, a dance, a piece of music, a story from a study-abroad experience, a poem, or a favorite joke from back home, we welcome all students, whether local or coming from abroad, to participate. Drop-in performances are also welcome.
