The departments of Philosophy; Environmental Studies; Art, Art History & Film; Islamic Civilization & Societies, and Theology invite Prof. Peter Adamson, Chair of Late Ancient and Arabic Philosophy at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, for this in-person lecture.
Professor Adamson's lecture will connect his work on the philosophy of animals in the Islamic World to the McMullen exhibition, Wonders of Creation: Art, Science & Innovation in the Islamic World.
The lecture will be followed by a docent tour of the exhibition.
