This event is limited to international students only. International instructors bring valuable knowledge and experience with them to classrooms in the U.S., but they can also face unique challenges.

In this Apprenticeship in College Teaching (ACT) session, we will aim to tackle some of these together and foster community growth. Broad goals are to:

  • discuss potential issues that one might face
  • identify the kinds of resources that often support international faculty who are teaching in the U.S.
  • specifically highlight Boston College resources for international graduate student instructors.

Francesca Minonne and Gomathy Ganapathy will facilitate this session. Enrollment is limited; please register as soon as possible, but no later than March 7th.
