DESCRIPTION:New approaches to teaching now give us many alternatives to the
  traditional lecture\, but having the presentation and planning skills requ
 ired to present an effective lecture can still be essential in the classroo
 m. This interactive Apprenticeship in College Teaching (ACT) workshop will 
 explore strategies for designing\, structuring and presenting an engaging\,
  learner-centered lecture. Francesca Minonne will facilitate this session.
