Angela Bourke is known as one of Ireland’s foremost writers, and has published in both Irish and English including her The Burning of Bridget Cleary: A True Story(1999) and Maeve Brennan of the New Yorker (2004). The event on the 13 December will bring together a range of scholars and writers to assess and discuss Bourke’s work.
