7 Habits of Highly Effective People
Presenter: Stefane Cahill Farella, Associate Director, Employee Development
Since first published in 1989, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey has sold more than 25 million copies and has been named by Time Magazine as one of the 25 most influential business management books of all time. The original book jacket entices: “…Covey presents a holistic, integrated, principle-centered approach for solving personal and professional problems. With penetrating insights and pointed anecdotes, Covey reveals a step-by-step pathway for living with fairness, integrity, honesty, and human dignity—principles that give us the security to adapt to change, and the wisdom and power to take advantage of the opportunities that change creates.”
This introductory workshop is appropriate for faculty and staff who are new to the model or are looking for a refresher. We will present an overview of the book as well as provide opportunities for self-reflection, planning, and discussion.
