Approximately 30 1L students will be selected randomly to participate in one of two legal clinics through the Lawyers Clearinghouse, a local nonprofit that offers free legal assistance to low-income and homeless individuals.  Each clinic takes place on either a Thursday afternoon (3:30 - 6pm) or Friday morning (9-12), and student responsibilities do not extend beyond preparing for and assisting in the one clinic to which the student is assigned.
