Islam, Shria, and Democratic Transformation in the Arab World      Abdullahi A. An-Na'im is Charles Howard Candler Professor of Law at Emory University in Atlanta, where he has taught since 1995. He holds an LLB (Honours) University of Khartoum, Sudan (1970) and PhD in Law, University of Edinburgh, Scotland (1976) and an Honorary Doctorate from the Universite catholique de Louvain (2009).
