Iranian Women in the Light of Persian Literature      Mahtab Sirdani will speak about contemporary Iranian political and social issues by examining works of contemporary Iranian literature including Persepolis, the graphic novel by Marjane Satrapi and "The Grand Lady of My Soul", a short story that won the Contre-Ciel Short Story Prize (1982) written by "Goli Taraghi", one of the first women writers to be published and celebrated in modern Iran.
