Jonathan Lethem Reading from His Fiction      In 1997, Jonathan Lethem was the only novelist named by Newsweek to their “100 People for the New Century” list. His novel, Motherless Brooklyn, (1999) won a National Book Critics Circle Award. He has written six novels and four collections of short stories, and many many essays and interviews. In 2005, he was named a recipient of a MacArthur Fellowship, often referred to as the “genius grant.” His next novel, You Don’t Love Me Yet, will be published in 2007.
