Peace Comes Dropping Slow      The John J. Burns Library and the Center for Irish Programs at Boston College is pleased to present a lecture by
Mary McAleese, Burns Visiting Irish Scholar, titled:
“Peace Comes Dropping Slow”

Mary McAleese, former president of Ireland, helped bring about the end of “The Troubles”, a time she personally experienced during her youth in Northern Ireland. Dr. McAleese is studying for her doctoral degree in canon law at Gregorian University in Rome. She will present lectures in different disciples during the fall semester at Boston College while continuing to conduct her own research.

A reception will follow in Gasson Rotunda.
