Arithmetic Intersection Theory on the Siegel Moduli Space By Kristin Lauter      Kristin Lauter (Microsoft Research) will give an overview of work being done to understand the arithmetic intersection of certain divisors on the Siegel moduli space with CM cycles attached to primitive quartic CM fields. This work has important applications to generating genus 2 curves for cryptography, and to Stark’s conjectures.
