Soaring Startup Circle Panel
Come engage in a panel featuring the Soaring Startup Circle (SSC) Executive Board, a group of BC alums who love the Boston entrepreneurship scene and want to see BC undergrads get connected and launch their own companies. Through a summer accelerator, they aim to help provide students with the time, office space, fundraising, mentorship, and passion to take their companies to the next level and answer the question "what would it be like to run this business full-time?".
The Soaring Startup Circle is a ten week summer accelerator program for Boston College student entrepreneur teams. The program typically accepts 3-4 teams each summer and provides them with office space, mentors, and funding. Weekly fireside chats with Boston founders/CEOs and sessions with professions in law, accounting, product marketing, engineering, and more are designed to give you the tools you need to launch your company. All BC undergraduates and graduates are welcome to apply. We will also be hiring one BC student to serve as the program manager to help coordinate the summer's activities.
Executive Board Members; Tom Coburn (BC '13, Jebbit co-founder/CEO), Danielle Dalton (BC '16, Jebbit Operations Manager), Justin Dziama (BC '04, Avison Young VP), Miguel Galvez (BC '12, NBD Nano co-founder/CEO), Mike Nardella (BC '12, Streak Media co-founder/CEO), Harvey Simmons (BC '12, Current MBA candidate at Cornell) and Duncan Walker (BC '13, Head of Product Jebbit)
