Nicaragua Solidarity Caravan
Nicaragua is in the middle of its worst political crisis in decades. Hundreds of people have died and the economy has been paralyzed by nationwide protests of the current government. The Solidarity Caravan includes Nicaraguan citizens touring the United States hoping to educate others about the current reality and inspire support for the people of Nicaragua. They will speak on the continuing peaceful civic resistance to the human rights violations occurring throughout Nicaragua.
The Solidarity Caravan is organized around the objectives of justice and democracy, and is committed to encouraging all Nicaraguans to actively participate in decision-making processes through legitimately elected representatives.
