Mindfulness for Racial Justice: a 4-week workshop series
Could you use support & skills in thinking or talking about your own race or racism? Do you need skills in managing complicated and strong feelings & thoughts that arise when race or racial injustice comes up in conversations or class? Are you looking to increase your emotional capacity to join conversations around race without burdening racially marginalized peers? Join us for the next 4 Fridays at 2pm to learn how mindfulness can help us all engage more deeply and compassionately in conversation towards racial justice.
Please note this workshop series will be facilitated by two White clinicians from UCS who are working on their own journey towards racial justice. White students are particularly encouraged to join; students of color are welcome.
