Postponed: “Mariano: ‘I Live and Paint, Paint and Live’”: A Virtual Lecture by the Artist’s Daughter Dolores Rodríguez

The McMullen Museum welcomes Mariano’s daughter Dolores Rodríguez for a virtual lecture on the man behind the brush. Rodríguez will share memories of her father over his prolific career and expand upon numerous works in the exhibition with details on Mariano’s biography and artistic motivations. Guests are welcome to ask questions following the lecture.

Dolores Rodríguez received her PhD in History from the School of Arts and Letters at the University of Havana. Prior to acting as the Vice Director of the Museum of Fine Arts in Havana, Cuba, for ten years, Rodríguez taught English literature and history at the University of Havana for 20 years and English language and literature at the Bancaria University and Quill Institute of Modern Languages in Mexico City for 18 years.
