Maintaining Community Throughout Difficult Conversations
Boston College Libraries will host a Fireside Chat entitled Maintaining Community Throughout Difficult Conversations. Tom Wall, University Librarian, will moderate a conversation on ways to facilitate discussion of contentious issues and to foster civility across different points of view both on campus and in the wider community. Barb Jones, Vice President of Student Affairs, Vincent Rougeau, Dean of the Law School, and Anthony Penna, Associate Vice President of Mission and Ministry will offer their own insights and advice on these topics and respond to questions from attendees.
This event will take place on Thursday, February 23rd at 4:00 PM in the O'Neill Reading Room. Light refreshments will be provided.
