Join us for lunch with Nicken Zhu, Founder & CEO of Jan Finance International Group and Sherry Xie, Head of Overseas Education Services, Jan Finance. Participate in a discussion with Nicken & Sherry about their journey as young entrepreneurs and network with Nicken, Sherry and fellow students interested in entrepreneurship. Lunch is provided by the Shea Center for Entrepreneurship.
Nicked Zhu is the Founder and CEO of Jan Finance International Group (“Jan Finance”), the only professional international service company for elite Chinese families in Mainland China. Major customers are the owners and top executives of large Chinese companies. Jan Finance has subsidiaries in Hangzhou, Beijing, Hong Kong, Sydney, Los Angeles and Boston. Prior to founding Jan Finance, Nicken was a Senior Relationship Manager at HSBC in Hangzhou. He is the four-time winner of the “National Top Gun” title in HSBC China, a member of HSBC Elite Club, two-time winner of “Personal Breakfast with HSBC’s CEO in China”, and three-time winner of the “HSBC East Region Best Annual Sales Award”. Nicked received Master of International Business and Master of Applied Finance degrees with distinction, from University of Newcastle.
Sherry Xie is the Head of Overseas Education Services at Jan Finance. Sherry leads the efforts in development of overseas education services of Jan Finance. Prior to joining Jan Finance, Sherry had over 10 years of experience in transfer pricing and economic consulting at EY, Deloitte, and the Analysis Group. Sherry managed transfer pricing planning, documentation and competent authority negotiations for Fortune 500 companies in a wide array of industries. Sherry has extensive experience in transfer pricing projects involving business restructuring and intellectual property portfolios for multinational companies. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
