Please join us in a webinar hosting Dr. Emily Bernard, acclaimed author of Black is the Body: Stories From my Grandmother's Time, My Mother's Time, and Mine and Julian Lindsay Green and Gold Professor of English at the University of Vermont.
Dr. Bernard will read an excerpt from her book, Black is the Body, followed by a keynote speech and Q&A session. The focus of the keynote speech will be on fostering interracial understanding as well as the importance of female storytelling.
This event is open to the public. Registration is required to receive the Zoom link for the event and pre-submit any questions for the event.
