DIY Night: Macramé Wall Hangings
As part of its continuing Do-It-Yourself event series, the Museum invites visitors to make their own works of art in and around the Museum. Inspired by Alen MacWeeney’s subway photographs and Simon Dinnerstein’s Fulbright Triptych, both made in the 1970s, the Museum is hosting a macramé workshop. We’ll provide metal rings and strings in neutral colors for creating your own piece of '70s wall art. Pop in anytime between 4:00 and 8:00 pm to try your hand at a few knots. No prior artistic experience is required. We’ll provide the materials, you provide the creativity.
Thursday, November 14 at 4:00am to 8:00pm
