A Conversation with Dr. Elaine Pinderhughes, BCSSW Professor Emerita
Dr. Elaine Pinderhughes is former Chair of the Clinical Program at BCSSW and served as the Lydia Rappaport Professor at Smith College of Social Work, Lucille Austin Fellow at Columbia University, and held the Moses Chair at Hunter College School of Social Work.
Dr. Pinderhughes has received numerous awards including the CSWE Lifetime Achievement Award and was most recently honored as an NASW Social Work Pioneer. She helped BCSSW establish the annual Pinderhughes Diversity Lecture Series which brings change-makers to campus to speak about pressing topics in the field.
Dr. Pinderhughes’s vision and mentorship has long inspired students to advocate for social progress. Come and join the conversation!
